My name is Josh Ferguson and I’m a 16 year old movie critic amongst other professions. Originally from Carlisle in Cumbria, I now reside in the very humble city of Bedfordshire based in Southern England. My favourite film is The Dark Knight (click here for review) and I live by the motto “There’s always room for seconds”.

Simply put, I’m a nerd. A self confessed nerd to be precise. I love comic books, movies, everything involving Harry Potter and a whole lot more geeky stuff. I am also a master magician, specialising in close up magic and have entertained hundreds of people across an incredible six year career. As previously mentioned, I adore all kinds of movies. With a ludicrous knowledge of pointless movie trivia, the cinema is my second home. In fact, I wish it was my primary home! I mean, who wouldn’t want free popcorn?! Although it is expensive, I would much rather watch a film in a cinema than illegally stream it. The atmosphere simply cannot be beaten; it’s heaven on Earth. Well, that is unless some despicable 13 year old tween talks aloud while playing Angry Birds on his phone; those people resemble the fungus between my stubby toes. But other than that, it is a truly wonderful experience to be surrounded by booming sound effects and to be immersed by the spectacular visuals projected on screen.

I’ve had a passion for movies for as long as I can remember and have always wanted to be involved in them in some way, whether that would be acting in a lead role or taking the reigns as the director. Although a career in Hollywood is unlikely, I would love to make a movie some day, no matter how popular it will or will not become. I have a butt load of ideas ready made for when that day comes!

But for now, I shall be sat at my computer typing the words you’re reading at this very moment and keeping you guys up to date with the world of cinema, giving my verdict on films new and old and discussing movie news worthy of sharing.
